Deakon and Maddie are getting along GREAT... as you can see. We'll continue to send you pictures of them.

Dear Sandy & Jim,

It has been a while since I last emailed you pictures.  We've had a new addition to the family since we last spoke so life has been a little crazy.  We just wanted to update you on Maddie.  She is the most amazing dog ever!  She fits so well into our ever growing family.  She is the most patient with our son who is now 17 months old.  They are great buds, maybe it has something to do with the fact that they share the same birthday.  Bobby was born on Maddie's first birthday.  She could not be more gentle with him.  He loves playing ball with her.  He takes it right out of her mouth and will either throw it for her or run back to her and she takes the ball right from his hand... which makes him giggle.

Mara has gotten so big and loves Maddie, if she's scared to go to a room in the house by herself she calls Maddie to come with her.  Most times, Maddie will follow her commands.
