Hi Sandy!

We wanted to send you some updated pictures of Josie.  I can't believe she's 1!!  We think she's around 115-120lbs.  She is doing great.  We still can't get enough of her.  She really is the BEST dog.  Her personality is hilarious.  I still can't believe how much we are stopped when we are walking.  Everyone wants to pet her and ask lots of questions about her and the breed.  She is a hit at the dog park too!  You can see from some of the pictures how silly she is.  She makes us laugh all the time.  Looking forward to the reunion this year and seeing all the other dogs and hopefully lots from her litter.

Hope you are having a terrific summer!

Hi!

Here are some pics of Josie from 10-11 months.  She is doing awesome.  She is just the best dog.  Doesn't get into anything, is great off-leash, loves EVERYBODY (except bike riders) and is such a big love.  We are constantly stopped on our walks by people asking if they can pet her.  Can't wait for the reunion this year!!!

Take Care,
Ashley and Scott

Hi there!

Josie is almost 7 months now and is doing great!  She loves going to the dog park and playing with all her friends.  She is so social and all the other dog owners call her the 'referee'.  If some dogs get rough in their play, Josie goes over and barks at them until they stop.  It's very funny to watch.

I can't believe how big she is getting.  We were away last week.  She went to a boarder in Virginia where some of our friends dogs were going too (that she plays with) and when we got her back, she looked so much bigger to us!  I will be anxious to see how much she weighs when we take her in next week.  On Dec. 23rd, she was 79.1 lbs.

I've attached some 6 month pictures for you to see.  The Bernese is her cousin (my sister's family dog) named Ryder.  And as you can see, she still LOVES that kids chair at the beach house.

Hope all is well.  Hugs to all the dogs.

Hi Sandy!

Thanks for accepting the friend request on Facebook! Wanted to send you some pics of Josie at 5 months.  She is SO cute!  We are cracking up about that kid chair that she LOVES at our beach house!  She keeps trying to get on there and get comfortable, it's a riot!  She also LOVES baths as you can see from the pictures.  I went upstairs to our bedroom and heard some noise and there she was in the tub wanting a bath!

Hope all is well.

Josie completed her puppy classes and she did really well.  She was the teacher's pet for sure.  We got lots of special attention because she is sooo good and cute.  The instructor is partial to large dogs as they have 2 great pyrenees.

We are having the best time with her and she is just the best puppy!  She loves her walks with Scott every day and then again when I get home in the evenings.  She goes about 2 miles almost every day.  She is the social dog of the neighborhood.  Everyone walks up to us to pet her.  She is definitely very active and loves to play.  So much for hearing how they sleep all day!  haha

Hi!

Josie and I have a routine when I get home from work.  Scott says she begins to whine around 4:15 knowing I'm going to be getting home soon.  She is usually at the top of the stairs or in the kitchen on her bed waiting.  When I get in, she and I sit on her bed in the kitchen and snuggle.  I love it.  She is such a snuggle bug, but also is very independent.  We try to get her to come on the couch with us in the evenings to watch TV but she'd rather lay on the marble floor by the fire place.  That seems to be her spot, or on her bed in front of the TV.  She's been sleeping with us at night, but I can see that she'd rather be down on the floor on the AC vent where it's cool.

She is doing so well.  She is already potty trained!  I am so surprised at how easy it was.  She is so smart.  Puppy kindergarten is going very well. She can sit, shake, touch, watch me, lay down and this week we are teaching wait and leave it.  She likes to jump up on the table when we are eating (we eat on the coffee table), so we are also teaching 'off' at the moment.  I think she just wants our attention b/c people food doesn't interest her (luckily).

She has so many puppy friends and is very well socialized.  We do a lot with our dog family friends and it's been so much fun.  We just love he so much.  She makes us laugh and her personality is just as you said.  Scott is still working from home every day and lately she's been going downstairs to her bed and staying there most of the day.  They take one long walk around lunchtime and then we usually take another in the evening.  She didn't like the crate very much and now that she is older, we are leaving her in the kitchen with a gate and she seems to be happy, which makes me very happy!  I've attached some recent pics.

Hope you all are well - give all the pups hugs from us.
