Hi Sandy,

Just wanted to share these with you.  On this day I left work early because it was so nice out.  Thought it was a good day to take Ty and Nico to this trail by BWI.  Nico was so excited and was all over the place while we were packing up to go.  Told her to sit still and wait while we got ready.  Well, I guess sitting on the stairs was her way of making sure we didn't leave without her!  She's just too cute and always knows how to make us smile and laugh!  :-)

By the way, sitting in front of that window is one of her favorite spots.  She loves to watch all the people, animals and cars go by.  We call it "Dog TV".

Enjoy!
Cindy

Hi Sandy,

Just wanted to send you new pics of Nico along with a quick update.  There has not been a dull moment since we brought her home.  She definitely brings a unique sense of adventure and refreshing joy and hapiness to our life.  She has grown so fast and learns so quickly.  I don't even know how to describe how it makes me feel to come home and see her excitement as she wags her tail... her whole body sways from side to side... and she's always got one of her favorite dolls in her mouth.  But the best thing about having Nico, is the bond between her and Ty.  They truly are the best of friends.  I know she loves us all, but Ty is definitely #1 for her.  When we got back from vacation, we went to pick her up from the kennel and when they brought her out to us... she galloped right past me and went straight to Ty!  I can't say I was all that surprised and it was really cute to see how much she loves him!  LOL :-)

Hope all is well with you, Jim and all the fur-kids!  Oh... and it was great to see the 3 litters!  It definitely had us thinking about when to add another pup.  While it was tempting to consider emailing you to get on the waiting list, I thought it would be best to hold off until Nico is much older.  But we'll see if we can really resist and hold off till then. :-)

Enjoy the pics!  Hope to see you guys soon!

Take care,
Cindy

Hi Sandy,

Just wanted to send you a quick update on Nico.  Before I move on, just wanted to thank you so much for allowing us to have the opportunity to have our lives enhanced by such an awesome, loving, smart, beautiful dog.

The ride home on pick-up day was filled with so many different emotions.  Of course we were extremely excited, but I was also a little nervous... kinda like when bringing Ty home for the first time 12 years ago.  She slept most of the way home and I was so glad to get Nico to her new home safe and sound.  That first night was the worst... she whined and cried and just laid around and slept a lot... both understandable and expected, but I still felt bad.  Since then, it's been nothing but continued excitement and hours filled with smiles and laughs.  She has definitely become another bonding experience for us as a family.  We all work together as a team to keep her entertained, fed, clean, healthy, safe and on her way to training.  She's received several visitors during her first week home so she's on a good start to socialization.  When we're outside with her, she definitely attracts a lot of attention.  She seems to be adjusting well to her new environment, new food and new water.

Thanks again for everything.  Can't wait to see you guys in October!

Take care,
Cindy
