Hi!

Betty Louise is slooooowly turning into a young lady... in the past month, I've really noticed her turning a corner.  For example, she no longer chews my shoes as I'm wearing them or barks at me if I'm typing on the computer.  LOL  All kidding aside, she is the sweetest!  Amazing with my sister's kids (4 and 2 years old) and such a happy puppy.  She has way more pep than her sister, Myra, and is always up for a walk or playing in the big field behind our house.

Quick story -- Betty Louise HATES the vacuum.  She is fearless, unless the vacuum is running.  She hates the noise and usually crawls under our kitchen table or heads for her crate.  Well, a few weeks ago I'm vacuuming and notice the motor running funny and then it shuts off.  Figuring I stretched the cord too far and accidentally pulled it out of the socket, I went and plugged it back in.  I continued vacuuming and the same thing happened again.  This time, I noticed Betty Louise by the outlet...  I had one of those "do you think she unplugged the vacuum...no way" moments.  I went back to vacuuming.  Same thing happened.  This time, I knew I hadn't stretched the cord too far.  I plugged the cord back in and with the vacuum running, left it, and snuck around the corner.  Sure enough, Betty Louise unplugs the vacuum and walks away casually, like, "yeah, that's right."  HAHAHA!  What's even funnier is that Myra was simply sitting by the receptacle with her head cocked, looking at it, like "so that's how it works!"  In Myra's 4.5 years she has never put two and two together... that if you unplug the cord, the noise goes away.  HAH!  I just love them both!

I've attached some pics of Betty and Myra from the holidays.
