Sandy,

Mudge is doing awesome.  I will send you a poundage update, but in June (11 months) she weighed in at 115.  Her head can rest on the dining room table.  One of her favorite games is with a soccer ball of Kendall's (our 7-year-old) that was destroyed by Mudge early in her life.  She will chase that ball in the yard a long time.  She brings it back, and when she is finished she will leave it at the bottom of the yard.  She walks the .4 down the hill to meet the bus.  She will lie down, but gets up when she sees the bus because she knows that her girls are coming home.  She has a special affinity for Kendall.  That is the one bed she is allowed in as it is low to the ground.  In the morning I can open the door to her room, and she will go in there and she stares at Kendall, and then climbs into the bed.  I'm not sure I would like waking up like that, but Kendall seems to.

Mudge and I have done two courses of obedience class.  She is very good, and I want to continue on to what they call the "transition" class.  I think I told you that I would like to get her certified as a therapy dog, and that is still true.

Thank you so much for inviting us to the reunion.  Keep doing so and maybe one year we can be there!!
