Hi Sandy!
Wow, it’s been almost six years since I last updated you about Bogie. He will be 11 this July and is
full on into the "I really don’t have to do anything you tell me to…right?" mode. As stated in my last update,
he is most definitely the ‘old man‘ of the house. He has his routines and lopes around the house doing whatever he pleases.
The only thing that gets him going is the sound of a cheese wrapper and for some reason people on bicycles. You’d think the
world was coming to an end. He lays at the front window and when he sees one, he can’t get up fast enough, then he gruffs
and huffs until he’s out the dog door then he lets out a bark. By the time he’s out there the biker is long gone.
Of course, he’s the reason they are gone, right? He’s done his job protecting us from the ‘evil bicycle people’. ;)
He is pure joy and has been since the day I brought him home. Everyone loves him that comes to visit, and of course he’s a
super star here at work. He roams the halls going into and out of each person’s office looking for treats and scratches…
he gets plenty of both and when that’s done, he takes his nap.
Thank you for such a wonderful dog.

Hi Sandy!
It's been a while so I thought I would drop you a line and let you know that Bogie is awesome!
He will be 5 this summer. He has grown to be the 'old man' of the house and certainly has his
routine.
It is not unusual to walk in the kitchen and find him staring at the door to the pantry,
where we keep the treats.
He has to be thinking, "Darn, if only I had an opposable thumb!"
He lays by the open window all day watching the world go by on our street. Letting out a few little
gruffs at suspicious passers-by.
He loves to go for car rides and often pushes his way into the car
when the door is left open. He is the star here at my work when I bring him.
Thanks for
such a lovely companion.
Stats: He is roughly 31" at the withers and weighs in around 180 pounds. Winter sees that go up and
of course summer he loses a bit.
Attached picture is of Bogie, "I'm ready for my close up Mr. DeVille" and my daughter.
The other shows Bogie and Chloe our Boxer on a rare day of snow for us.
