Hello Sandy,
My wife Cindy has been continuously “reminding” me to contact you about the possibilities of
getting another puppy. Since I haven’t sent an update on Sprinkles in a few years I figured it was
about time that I did. It’s hard to believe Sprinkles is approaching her 7th birthday. She is
such a good dog and everyone always comments on how friendly and docile she is. She even puts up
with all of the excitable tiny dogs that visit. That is, until one of them lands on her while she’s
laying on the floor or her bed. Then she lets them know that enough is enough.

She is so obedient
I probably have become spoiled with training a dog. We have many, many deer come up to our house and
I have a terrible time with them eating everything in sight. She’s become accustomed to alerting
me that they have come up into the yard (we’re on 17 acres with no fence). I tell her “no deer” and
she runs over to chase them away. She’ll cover the 100 feet or so across the back yard and
just before entering the wooded area I’ll tell her to “come” and she’ll pull up and come trotting back.
The same with the turkeys when they’re tearing up the lawn :-)
We would love to get back on your waiting list for another puppy. Once again we have no priority on color,
but this time we would like a male puppy.
Thanks,
Bob

Hi Sandy,
Sprinkles is doing great! As I've mentioned previously, I've had numerous dogs since I was small and
Sprinkles is by far the best companion I've had. If I had to complain (which I'm not) about something
it would be that she's constantly stuck to me. She's basically a 150 lb leech :)
Thanks!

Sandy,
We can’t express how much of a joy Sprinkles is to have around. I have never encountered such a pleasant breed.
Much as we expected she is growing like a weed. She was 18lbs when we picked her up on September 8th.
She’s almost 5 months old now and she is already 60+ lbs. She still wants to flop down in my lap, but her flops are a
little more abusive now! We had some trouble finding a suitable dog food for her.
We wanted to try some of the all natural foods first, but her system wasn’t agreeing with them until we tried Canidae which she just loves.
Two of the foods she liked but didn’t agree with her were Wellness and Innova. We’ve taken her for some obedience classes and
she is doing marvelous. The trainer says she’s one of the easier dogs he’s ever trained. She’s very willing to please.
He’s especially impressed with her progress given that she’s only 4 months old. Already she walks without pulling on the leash
which allows my son and mother-in-law to take her for walks without fear of being dragged down the street which she is already capable of
doing. She has solicialized very well. She has another regular doggie friend named Molley who is a French Brittany.
Thanks and we’ll send some more updates soon.
Bob
