As usual, I can't say enough about how much we all love him and how much we appreciate
your letting us adopt him :)... He's ridiculously spoiled and incredibly loved.
Thank you!

Hey there,
Newman is doing great. He CAN navigate the steps on his own, but as you can imagine,
he MUCH prefers the elevator. He is a tad lazy around the edges ;) I still carry him
around if I need to - to get into the car etc... and I occasionally let him sit in my lap.
However, he is getting big enough that he just about needs his own chair (which we provided
for him as you saw in the picture). He has been a total joy, and my dad, who thought that
we had lost our minds for getting a dog this big, has of course fallen head over heels with him.
He loves car rides just as long as he knows that we are going somewhere together.
We have taken several trips to Madison to stay with mom and dad and he loves it! He has been sleeping
upstairs with me in my room. Ross loves being around him and loving on him, but it's hard for him to
handle him. He can't let him out to potty or anything. So, once we get through with the training
it will be a lot easier for him.
We have so enjoyed having him around. I had to leave Newman in mom and dad's care for a few days, and I
mean to tell you, my dad loves this dog. He must have called me ten times to tell me about something
that Newman was doing... He has totally taken to him and vice versa. Newman's just a love-bug.
He gave mom a hug the other day as if he were a human and she couldn't get over it. She called all
of her friends to tell them about it! He's conked out beside me now and oblivious to the world...
Thank you so much for allowing us to have him. He has been a real blessing for all of us!
I'll continue to keep you updated, and feel free to contact us anytime!
All the Best,
Holly
