Hi Sandy & Jim,

Just thought I'd pass along this sweet picture of Jack and Stella.  She's in her spot on her couch with her boy- these two have a special bond- always have.

Hope you are well.

Hi Sandy & Jim,

Just wanted to pass this along.  I had my appendix out this week and Stella has been making sure I don't get lonely in bed.  She makes the perfect body pillow.  Thought you'd get a kick out of it.

Hope all is well with you guys!

Hi Sandy,

I hope you and Jim are doing well.  Just wanted to send you some new pictures of our moose named Stella.  She weighed in last week at 115 lbs.  She is beautiful and sweet.  She still goes to the store with me quite a bit and the customers love her.  Everyone can't believe how quickly she has grown.  She is a very sweet girl.  She has outgrown her crate and I am happy to report that we don't need it anymore.  She does just fine in the house when we are gone as long as the other dogs are home with her.  She walks well on the leash and loves to go places with the family.  We take her out to lunch with us and she sits patiently while we eat.  She loves to go to the retirement community to see grammy.  She has decided that the bed is too crowded when we are in it at night so she sleeps on the couch at the foot of the bed.  She loves to be on the bed when we are elsewhere though.

We continue to love her and she is very happy with her life here!  Lots of love from all of us!

Hi Sandy,

I hope you and Jim are well.  I just wanted to send a couple of pictures from December.  Stella is doing great.  She is such a good dog.  It's so funny, she is so good all day long in the store.  Doesn't jump on people, is calm, doesn't tear up the place or the clothes, just a perfect little girl.  When we get home, she is wide open.  She is so excited to see Scout & Molly that she is wild.  She won't stop playing with them until she collapses for bed for the night.  It's so amazing how she knows she can't be wild in the store...so she isn't.  We love her more and more.  She is such an affectionate dog.  She follows me all over the store and I love how she is always making sure she is in the same room with me, unless it gets really busy, then she'll go lay in the back on her own.  She loves to lean on the customers in that typical big dog way.  She has learned to sit, lie down and shake hands.  She is doing pretty well on the leash most of the time.  Sweetest girl.  Oh, and she knows the word "kiss" and will give me kisses when I ask.  LOVE her!  Thank you soooooo much!

I'll send more pics soon!  Happy New Year!

Hi Sandy and Jim,

Stella is the most amazing dog.  Honestly, I can't imagine a better puppy.  She is so good.  Of course she does the usual puppy stuff, but I call it puppy light because compared to our labs when they were puppies its nothing!  What they say about American Mastiffs needing only a stern tone to get their attention is true.  She really only needs a firm "no" or two and she knows she needs to stop whatever it is she's doing.

Everyone is so impressed that she can be in my store all day long and not destroy anything.  She is sooooo good at the store.  We used to keep her big dog bed out in the store, but we eventually moved it to the back room because she would wander back there and lay amongst the hundreds of shoe boxes for some quiet time.  When she wants to be out with the customers and employees she is out and just lays herself in the middle of the floor or helps herself to the big couch.  It's so funny because now that people have met her there, not a day goes by that someone doesn't come by just to see her.  She is quite the attraction at the store.

She is really fantastic.  She is great with all of the customers, kids, the residents at my grandmothers retirement home where she visits regularly, dogs in the neighborhood, and anything else she may come across.  She is such a sweet and loving girl.  She has brought energy to our older labs that I didn't know they had.  It's like they are re-living their youth.  Oh, and she does great in the car.  She came for show and tell for both my 3 year old and 4 year old and she did great.  I can't say enough good things about her.  She is great in the crate when we are gone and goes in there no problem.  We do still let her sleep in the bed most nights and as she is growing she is taking up more room so we'll see how long that lasts.  She still loves to sleep up on the pillows by our heads and that is a riot now that she is almost as big as our labs and she is only 18 weeks old...geesh!  I recently had a flare up with my MS that landed ime in the bed for several days and I can't even tell you how good she was.  She literally laid in bed and snuggled calmly with me for two days straight.  It was like she knew I was feeling bad and needed her to be calm.  Amazing.

Anyway, we all love her... everyone loves her, how could you not?!  Hope you are well!

So, her favorite spot to sleep is on my head or Jarrett's head.  She's like a cat!  But a very big cat.  Actually, with the teething she's like a peranna... which we call her quite a bit.  She is 12 weeks today and we can't believe we've had her a month.  She is growing a ton and is so beautiful.  Scout and Molly have accepted her in the pack and they often lay together on one big dog bed.  She prefers our bed at night... which I kind of knew I would end up doing.  Oh well.  We also have a couch at the foot of the bed so one dog is there and two in bed.  My poor husband :) but, when I was out of town and she could have slept in her crate, she of course was in bed with him... so he just pretends he doesn't love it!

She's been great in the store.  My customers love her and come back to see her more than I thought they would.  She stays there with me all day and the employees take turns walking her.  She loves it.  We adore her!  More pics to come!

Love,
Lisa

Oh my gosh!  Our 4 year old is in love!!!  This is how they fell asleep tonight!

She is very loved by everyone here!

8 weeks old.

So much for keeping her out of the bed.  We have snuggle time and then she goes in her crate which she loves already.  I took her to the store today all day and she was great!  She and Molly are bonding for sure.  My 4 year old girl was so mad I took her to work with me today.  She kept telling me I couldn't take her puppy to work cause she would miss her too much.  Both kids were so happy she was back home at the end of the day.  Not sure they grasp that she is staying forever.

We couldn't be any happier with her!  I was sick yesterday from my shot that I take for my MS and she was great and laid in bed with me for hours.  What an amazing animal she is at only 8 weeks.  We are going to have a lifetime of happiness with her!  More pictures to come soon.
