Hi Sandy,
I hope this email finds you doing well. Leia is doing really well. As you know she will be 1.5
years old next week. She weighed in at 109 lbs at the vet about 3 weeks ago. She is totally
healthy so we are not concerned about her being smaller than other AM's. We figure we are lucky to
have a smaller version of a large breed. I guess she could grow some more in the next 6 months
but I would be surprised to see a drastic climb in size. Is it common for AM's to grow quite a bit
between 1.5 and 2 years of age?
I attached a pic of Leia that I took this morning. We get nothing but compliments about her disposition and manners.
She does really well with her training and socialization and we couldn't be happier. She is also at the stage
where she can be left alone for a few hours at a time with full run of the house without any damage.
As always we are very appreciative of your commitment to your pups long after they have left the roost.
Take Care!!

Hey Sandy,
Leia weighed in at 106.6 lbs at the vet today.
We cannot believe it has been one year since she was born. The last 10 months have gone by quickly however not a day has
gone by that she has not made us smile. She has been doing really well with no issues to speak of.
Everyone compliments us on how well behaved and gentle she is for such a large dog. We always tell them we were lucky to
have a wonderful breeder as well as a good trainer and a lot of patience! Thank you so much for being there and providing
us with such a wonderful companion!

Hi Sandy,
We just wanted to send a picture along of Leia - she is doing great. As with all AM's, is growing like
a weed and acclimating well to her new family. Potty and crate training are going well. Since we both
needed to learn a new routine we've finally found our rhythm. The 11pm to 5am sleep schedule has worked
wonders--thank you so much for the wealth of advice and information.
We just gush with love and joy when we look at her and we know we are so very lucky to have her in our family.
I look forward to the 28th when she receives her final vaccinations and we can take her to visit more family
and friends as well as make new canine friends at the dog park.
Again, we can't thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to welcome this beautiful animal into our home.
All who meet hear remark on her coloring and disposition--and we see a bit of Diesel's handshaking
ability coming out when she meets new people who ask her to sit for kibble.
Sincerely,
Robert, Kristine & Leia
