Hi,
Just wanted to drop you a note and some pics of Cuda. Lets see, she should be 12 weeks this Tuesday,
and it seems that she has doubled in size since we got her. She is absolutely wonderful, I love her personality.
She gets along well with everyone in the family, including Al's niece and nephew. My mom has a jackapoo, Ivy,
who likes to play. It's not usually a long visit because they play hard, and Cuda gets worn out fast.
I want you to know that I am very mindfull of how she plays and how long she plays. Puppy classes begin
the end of October, and we have contacted the trainer about information.&nsp; She is sending in the mail the
information with the dates, and we are excited about starting them!! I had gone with Ivy when we first got her
as a puppy, and have been trying to do some of the exercises with Cuda everyday. So far, for the most part, she
sits on command; goes 'outside and inside'; and crates on command. The first few nights were rough and she
was barking and whining the majority of the night, however, it only lasted maybe three nights, and now she doesn't
make a sound until morning when she has to go out. We use a baby monitor during the night just in case,
but I think I have the different whines figured out. She has had her booster and rabies shot as of last Friday.
We had taken her to the vet because she has had runny poodles for almost a week. It varied for about a week between
actual diarrhea, and just soft poodles. The vet said she had a clean fecal test, so no parasites, and we have been
giving her pumpkin. Today it seems to be clearing up, it is maybe every third poodle that is soft. We make sure that
she is hydrated, and she seems to be in good health. She seems to do well riding in the car as well from home
to my mom's house. She just lays down and sleeps.
Well, that's all for now. When she starts puppy classes, I will
write more. Thanks again for such a wonderful dog, I just love her to bits!
April, Al and Cuda!
