Hi Sandy -
Attached are a few pictures of Myra.
In the one, she has my toothbrush!
She loves loves loves getting her teeth brushed and one morning I left my toothbrush on the edge of the bathroom
sink and the next thing I know, Myra is gnawing on something and being a bit too quiet. I look over to the
steps and she is enjoying a nice brushing of her teeth! Needless to say she has quite the pearly whites.
She has the funniest sense of humor, she is so aware of everything around her and LOVES watching television,
especially the animal planet station. When she isn't cracking us up or watching television (we try to limit-haha)
she is usually in the car with me - She has been everywhere from camping grounds in the Poconos to New York City.
She has even been in a jewelry story with me! Everyone loves her and she totally hams it up for the "audience."
She goes for three daily walks and loves the fresh air and exercise. Now, if only we could get her used to loud buses,
motorcycles and our vacuum cleaner!
When she isn't in her social butterfly mood, she is "resting" on one of us
and absolutely believes she is a lap dog and not 50.4 pounds (as of last Monday, November 16th).
Myra graduates
from her training on December 2nd. I will take pictures. She has learned her name along with "sit",
"down", "stay", "wait", "no" and we are still working on "paw/shake" - once she graduates we can take her Thursday
nights to group class mostly so she can continue to interact with dogs, people and just have fun!
Myra has truly brought so much joy into my life. She is just what the doctor ordered and I can't imagine life
without her.
I will keep you updated and please stay in touch. Hope all is well at
Deepwood Acres. Can't wait to see the pups from the Diesel and Amber Dawn litter!
Much love,
Lauren, Brian and Myra :)
