Hi Sandy,

Here's my long overdue update on Diesel.  He is doing just great here, and fitting right in.  I attached a few photos.  The first few are from his first day home.  Our Dixie was so happy she was rolling in the grass.  She has always loved puppies and kittens, and has been mothering him since he got home.  Our lab, Amos, is tolerating the whole situation, and can't believe it is happening to him again (after surviving Dixie's puppyhood just a few years ago).  He is our wise old man.  The picture by the flowers was at about 3 1/2 months, just after he fell in the pool for the first time-- I don't think he'll do that again!  Here he is today, not quite 5 months, and he thinks he's the big dog in the house now, copying everything Dixie does.  She is my front porch sitter.  Of course, he gets a little distracted, and has to chase down the grasshoppers, too.
