It is with deep sadness that I send this email to let you know that Dakota has passed away. She had a inoperable tumor on her left hind leg.
She passed peacefully in my arms and with our family present.
Dakota was the sweetest girl and such a gentle soul. Always a watchful sentry, taking care of her people. I hope one day to have another
American Mastiff, although no other pup could possibly fill the hole that's in my heart.
Thank you for raising such wonderful dogs.

Dakota loves to climb into our daughter's lap and snuggle. And she loves to have her head cuddled!
She is turning out to be such a great dog, very loving and easy going. I love that she is so protective
of our home, and her people.
Dakota is getting along great with my service dog, although she does like to rough house and caused him a bruised shoulder
(soft tissue injury). She just doesn't realize how big she is.
Training is going well, she passed her
Canine Good Citizen test and we are starting to train her as a Therapy Dog.
We will continue to keep you updated on Dakota's progress.
