Hi there- I hope you and your family are enjoying the holiday season.  Here is an update on Logan and a recent photo... Logan is doing so great and we couldn't imagine our life without him.  He is currently 21 months old and weighs 150lbs.  He is our big, sweet, gentle giant.  He has never met a stranger and just loves everyone.  He plays so well with other dogs and enjoys visiting dog parks where he can make new friends.  His favorite hobbies are chasing squirrels in the yard, going to work with us every Friday and snuggling on the couch while watching tv.  Logan walks great on a leash and has currently been doing really well with off leash training.  He listens so well and one of our favorite stories involves him and a small baby gate.  When we mop the living room floors we put Logan in the kitchen with a small baby gate in the doorway.  Even though he could easily knock it over or literally step over it, he just sits there wagging his tail, watching us and waiting patiently to be let out.  He is such a sweet and handsome guy. Sorry we couldn't make the reunion because we were out of town but we will next year! Phil & Angela

Hi Sandy, Logan is doing great.  The best way to describe him is sweet, gentle, loyal, loving and a bed hog.  Logan LOVES people and gets so excited when we visit our friends and family.  He also graduated from his puppy socialization class a few months ago, which he thoroughly enjoyed, and he got along great with all the other dogs.  One of his favorite activities happens every Friday when he gets to come to work with us for the day.  Everyone at the office loves him and spoils him rotten.  Logan is also a great travel companion.  We take a lot of road trips together and he likes looking out the window and snoozing in the backseat. I have included some pictures of our handsome guy.  They were taken in many different places that we visited recently: Ormond Beach, FL; Buchanan, VA and Charleston, SC. Hi Sandy-

Logan's first week home went very well.  He walked in to the house without hesitation and immediately found a toy and started to play.  He is such a sweet and lovable boy.  Logan had no problems or hesitations eating or drinking, even on the first night!  When he was introduced to our 10 year old lab Jasmine, they sniffed each other briefly then started playing instantly.&nsp; It is so cute to see him tag along behind or beside her trying to copy everything she does.  He is now trying to learn why she barks when the door bell rings.

The best part of our week is when we found Logan and our cat Otis playing.  Logan and Otis had decided that they would be instant friends and would chase each others tails.  I have never seen a cat and dog play together so nicely like these two do.  I caught Otis the other day laying with Logan and giving him a bath.

Logan was such a hit during his first veterinary appointment last week.  He wasn't nervous at all.  All of the staff came out to meet Logan, and even our vet fell in love.  She kept holding him, praising him and giving him kisses on top of his head.  He was so relaxed and would start to wiggle and wag his tail when a new person came in to say hi.  He got a A+ during his visit and is in great health.

We are still working on the potty training and he continues to make progress every day.  He has such a sweet temperament and a fun personality.  We are truly blessed to have him as part of the family.
