Hey Sandy,
Sampson is doing well. He is about 125 lbs now and growing each week. His personality really
has blossomed the last few months as you can almost see the things he's thinking, haha. He is
extremely social and wants to meet/play with just about any human or dog he sees. It incredible
how quickly he captures everyone we come across and they can't believe he's just a puppy. He's
such a joy to our family and we are so thankful you brought him to us.

Sandy,
Sampson is getting so big so fast. We are at 85 lbs at a little over 5 months!
He hasn't lost a step of energy from the days at your farm. His personality is still
absolutely bananas and we love it. He is just now getting to the age where his
obedience lessons are starting to set in and school is paying off. The other day he
was fully engaged with another dog playing and I called him and he turned around and
looked at me and then came right away. Needless to say, I was floored! haha.
He absolutely has no idea his size or weight either! A few days a week while both
of us are at work, he gets to run free our daycare lady's yard with other dogs (all smaller)
and he thinks he is one of them. He thinks he can keep up with the high-energy ones,
even though it results in him trailing them by 30 yds! haha. That's how he
first learned it was ok to take breaks during the day, he kept going and going and
going because the others dogs were around to play with, well when we picked him up that
afternoon he petered out and just crashed the rest of the night. I must say it's
really helped him learn healthy boundaries with smaller dogs. He is super person-
and dog-friendly, he just wants to play (as you got to know early on!).
Our schooling has been going well. Our puppy class wasn't super productive, as you
could have probably guessed, he spent most of those weeks figuring out the new world
he just entered. However, it helped us new owners get a better idea of how dogs
tick and how to best get them in a good routine. This next iteration of classes
has been very productive. This past week we had a school-wide game day with all
the dogs and Sampson tied for first in the game of who sits the quickest when the owner
stops walking (without a command!). And he came in second, in who could STAY the
longest, but I attribute most of that to his instintual breed haha! He laid down
and I'll be darned if he didn't move for a good few minutes haha.
