Sunny celebrated her first year birthday with a Scooby Do party with her classmates.
A fun time was had by all! She will be walking in her first fundraiser next Saturday.
She will be joining 'Team Agape' for the Human Race in Asheboro.
Sunny is a fabulous dog, pet, mascot, and my best friend!

Sunny of Agape continues to be a great addition to the classroom. She spends about 90% of her time
outside the crate with the children. Lunchtime is too tempting for her though. Once a month
she sponsors a snack shack to raise money for the local “Human Race” coming next March. At our
Grandparents’ Day Picnic last Friday she was a hit among the many generations. I couldn’t have a
better companion and school mascot. I found a leash and collar with the school colors and sun symbol.
Perfect! Sunny has finished Behavior 101 and we will start 102 in October (top of her class, of course).
The first pix was taken during quiet time when I am reading a classic to the children (Last of the Mohicans
presently). The girl and Sunny were sticking tongues out at each other. The second pix is Sunny with
her best school friend. He is a “little” active and Sunny was containing him for me! He loves this
dog and they are good for each other.

Yes, it is the same bear. Sunny is a gentle dog and has not destroyed her special
first toy. Presently she is cuddling my leg as we lay in bed together. I can’t
tell you enough how wonderful a dog she is. Sunny loves everyone and does not have a
mean bone in her body. She is so gentle all the students in my class love to feed her
Goldfish crackers from their mouths to hers. Yet, she is protective and always on
watch for the unusual at school.
Thank you again for this wonderful lady!

'Sunny' of Agape has really had a great first day of school! We are doing our end of the year
testing this week and she has provided the perfect diversion for the children. They love her and
she seems to love them! Everyone has fallen in love with this precious little pup.
She has
taken to her crate though she prefers cuddling with me in bed. (Oh, I have broken the Golden Rule
of no bed sharing!) Sunny was a great traveler and even did well in the hotel. She even seems
to be potty trained. Sunny is smart, loving, and a great companion, following me everywhere I go.
This weekend she will finally meet her brother (a big boxer), sister (the Great Pyrenees) and her cousin
(a brindle mix of lab and dane). Bill finally met her today and his heart has melted.
Thank you for this perfect pup!
