Hi Sandy!

Griswold wanted to say hi on his 5 month birthday!!!!

So we've decided you breed magical puppies??  Either that or Torque and Rayne gave their children the most incredible personality traits.  Grizzi is the best of all three puppies we've raised (a Golden and another AM).  He is truly the most loving and affectionate puppy we have ever met and we are so blessed to have him.

He turned 5 months old today so yesterday we had him weighed.  He's 94 lbs!!  And there is not an ounce of fat on this boy.  We are super careful about treats, knowing the AM as we do and how big they get, he doesn't need extra help gaining weight.  So I think it is safe to say our boy is going to reach 200 lbs before we know it and we couldn't be happier.

His personality, as I said, is remarkable.  He LOVES to give kisses.  Loves to cuddle.  Loves to be loved.  He is happiest when he is near us, which is pretty much always as we are a very close knit family.  His puppy biting lasted a surprisingly short time and his baby teeth are falling out quickly.  He lost five teeth in about 10 days!  His back molars have come in and they look so funny in his mouth because they are huge and pure white, so they're very obvious.

He loves every single toy he owns, be it soft, plastic, rope, whatever.  He just loves to play.  Fetch is his favorite and he is good for about 10 good runs before he is out of breath haha true Mastiff!  And yet it only takes him a few minutes to catch his breath before he's ready to go again.

However he is also very good at being by himself, whether it's sitting quietly or playing with his toys alone.  We have friends and family over and after his normal puppy happiness of excessive kissing he settles right down.  Really, it is remarkable how well behaved he is.  Oh and smart!  He is VERY attentive and loves listening.  Perhaps not always obeying right away though haha but again, he's a stubborn Mastiff!  Oh and we bought him his own pool!  He adores water! (He is actually so brave and hardly anything scares him)  It hasn't been warm enough to use it again yet but the one time we did he had so much fun.  I can't wait for it to get warmer so he can play in it all day!
